A trail of temporary installations at RSPB Farnham Heath.

Take a circular walk around Farnham Heath and discover some fascinating artworks responding to this beautiful location.

Craft, design and fine art students from the degree and masters courses at the University for the Creative Arts have created pieces focused on the wildlife, the flora or the history.

This is an annual event that has proved very popular for visitors of all ages. This year we are excited to see work including woodcuts of the surrounding wildlife, ceramic fossils, colourful shadows and a glass piece representing the gentle topography of the landscape.

You may wish to extend your Heathland Artworks trail to walk up to the viewpoint and experience Walter Bailey’s House of Invisible Hands.

Farnham Heath is managed by RSPB who have restored the heathland creating habitats for native species such as Grayling butterflies, Woodlarks, Nightjars and Sand Lizards.

Visitors are advised to wear sturdy shoes and refrain from touching the artworks.
